This was the weekend when stuff had to start coming in from the yard. It is kind of sad to know that there will be no more red wine on the deck for another 7 months. I should spend more time in our yard. In the process of getting the yard winterized I found Crank hiding in the Hostas, I totally forgot he was there.

Winterized? Say it isn't so!!! I've only just now admitted to myself that it is not, in fact, "late summer." My proof? I've been wanting to do nothing but make soups, stews, chilis and chowders.
