Day 55... back into the vault

I confess. I didn't even pick up my camera today. Honest to god I was just too busy. So I dipped back into the archives to Christmas 2009, dinner at the Westin Nova Scotia. While everyone else was on their 4th trip to the buffet I was taking pictures of carved fruit... Check it out!

    Holy crap! That's awfully fancy for a Westin brunch! I had no idea (of course, I believe the last time I had breakfast at the Westin I was pregnant, so I'm pretty sure all I cared about was waffles).

    It was actually Christmas Dinner. like Dec. 25th dinner. It was awesome. I will never EVER spend all of Christmas day in the kitchen again.

    You went out to eat on Christmas Day? Wow! Living the dream! I've always wanted to do that (that and going to see a movie on Christmas Day). Don't tell my family though!

    I am tired of spending all of Christmas in the kitchen cooking and cleaning. It made the day so much less enjoyable. We have a pact now to sit back every day enjoy the whole day and then go let someone else take care of everything. It makes Christmas joyful again.
