It turns out I am a nick nack kind of girl. I love to be surrounded by my bit of memories. I spent a LARGE chunk of the long weekend cleaning our bedroom and rearranging this bit of my life on the shelves. Here is a shelf of some of my favorite junk.

I am bone tired but it was worth it to see my room this clean. And my honey got me a caramel  crackachino as a reward. I love him!!

Yay. I managed to get around to charging the camera battery today. I am 50% lazy and 50% run off my ass. I would ask forgiveness but frankly ... I don't need forgiveness I need another set of hands.

My camera battery was dead today and although I could have used my cell phone but I had this crazy wave of nostalgia this afternoon about a May evening 14 years ago. This isn't a picture of that night but for me it captures for me the feeling of that time so perfectly.   Enjoy my walk down memory lane.

I love May because it means summer is really around the corner, in the truly Nova Scotian sense anyway, which means we can pretty much count on there not being any more snow and one in every 7 days the sun might come out so break out the patio lanterns and the BBQ!
